Art, Marketing, Acheivement, & Fiction: 2010, Summarized

I’ve always loved reading, studying, and learning new things.  Being in Infusionsoft’s learning-rich environment has feuled the desire to read & learn more.  Below is a list of the books I read in 2010.

I started off the year strong and then slowed my reading down to only a few books in Q4.  In the end, 2010 was about getting more attuned to what it will take to get Infusionsoft to the next level, personal growth for me in various areas, and coming to grips with what I don’t know.

In 2011 I’m reading a bunch of real-life adventure books (people who’ve climbed Everest, people surviving in the jungle) including one of my favorite topics: sailing in heavy weather.  I’m also reading some books on speed reading (something I started reading last year but wasn’t fast enough to finish by the end of the year), how to be a better executive, some classic marketing stuff, more sea survival books, and some books on slowing down and being deliberate.

I read 26 books in 2010.  Roughly one book every two weeks.  In 2011 I want to double that.  One book per week.  Minimum.  I’ll keep you posted.

    Hi again Tyler….
Had to let you know that I just finished “The 22 Laws” book based on your recommendation! What an amazing book. One of the best marketing books I have read. Thanks so much for the list, I find it difficult to find really good marketing books.

I am now reading “No BS Social Marketing”… So far so good.

When I’m done, I will now be returning to your list of “required reading” to see what’s next for my reading list. I am happy to hear any specific recommendations. I am a huge reader….except for family XFactor night :-)….I agree with you about Stacy…she is an amazing spirit…and she did make it through! 🙂

Oh…and one more thing I have to tell you…just for fun……my husband cannot stand American Idol…and he is loving XFactor! I’m with your wife on this one…it is an amazing show. Those artists are really talented. I mean…they are mind blowing talented. It is something to see.

See you in April! For sure…can’t wait.

      Nadine,

I’m glad you’re enjoying some of these books. I just read Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us, and it is AMAZING.

      Talk soon.
